Cirque Du Soliel - La Nouba Overview

This facility, operated by the renowned Canadian circus troupe, opened in December of 1998 under the “Big Top” located at Disney’s West Side in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The theater boasts 1,671 intimate seats featuring high-energy performances in the most technical state-of-the-art venue in the Southeast.

There are multiple stages that raise and lower throughout the ninestory fly-structure.

ProSound Cirque Du Soleil-La Nouba Project

Pro Sound’s work included the complete engineering and setup of this venue’s sound, communications and video systems.

This is the most sophisticated sound system south of New York State for performing arts centers at its inception.

There are three computers that automate the sound system for the front of house and musicians, including all of the effects units.

System highlights include:

Fully automated 72 input by 96 output CADAC F series mixing console computer controlled
Midi-controlled effects processors throughout the facility
Separate 52-input by 22-output Crest monitor mixing console
Eight musician’s monitoring racks that are computer controlled
Full 40-channel Clear-Com production communication system
Addressable speaker systems using LCS spatial enhancement control processors
Processed Meyer Sound speaker systems / EAW / Renkus-Heinz
In-house TV/RF systems
Over sixty amplifiers
Forty plus patchbay systems
Completely patchable wireless microphone systems
Wireless production intercom systems
Remote controlled video CCTV system
Microphone distribution system – 24 channels
