Cirque’s use of leading technologies included systems that can electronically control and trigger all sound and visual cues.
Speaker systems were incorporated to provide tremendous sound energy and high directionality driven by a processing system that can steer the sound around the audience chamber with all seating being the best sounding available.
The room acoustics are also driven via a variable room acoustics processing module to further enhance the feel of the show room.
Two Apple G4 computers connect to a Cue Console system, which was used for the high scale mixing and the compact size. The system also boasts a 72 channel digital intercom, HSS directional speakers in a lobby entry feature, self-powered loudspeakers, analog to digital microphone preamps, and many other high tech features with 112 channels of wireless microphones or headsets.
DSP computers were also provided and programmed for backstage paging, show monitoring, and to handle the front entry systems.
This system when installed represented the best in class technology available.
