House of Representatives Armed Services
Pro Sound & Video was selected to provide and install the integrated audio and video systems for the United States House Committee on Armed Services in the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, DC. The system is used during hearings, markups and widely attended events.

The purpose of the system is to allow the Members, witnesses, audience, staff and press to clearly and effortlessly hear all Committee proceedings, by amplifying speech and via the playback of other pre-recorded and live source materials. In addition to the sound reinforcement, the system supports assistive listening systems for ADA compliance, teleconferencing, a broadcast camera system, and video system for playback of various sources as well as live reimaging.
 
Equipment & Services Provided:

The system includes 89 Member positions including a custom Member panel, microphone, and monitor.

The video portion of the system includes two large LCD display panels as well as a video projector.

Live reimaging is accomplished through five remote controlled pan/tilt cameras.

An AMX control system is used to integrate the audio and video systems. The system incorporates fiber optics, Ethernet, copper infrastructures.
